Treat bag inspiration from a Halloween card!
Boo! Kimberly here with you today. The night of Halloween is drawing closer! I personally prefer the fun side of Halloween, think Charlie Brown and The Great Pumpkin, over the scary. And in my mind, fun equals treats! Who doesn’t love candy corn or the mallow cream pumpkins? Looking for some treat holder ideas in the October issue of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine, I came across a beautiful card by Tessa Wise.
Inspired by the colors, I grabbed some Halloween supplies from my stash and created this treat bag.
The kraft surface was fantastic for me to stamp the stars from Winnie & Walter’s new set, Moonlight. And along the top fold, some spider webs, from the same set, were stamped.
I added strips of festive patterned paper and a sentiment from the Moonlight stamp set. Some black glitter stars were another fun touch.
To close the bag, I used a plain clothespin, but tucked a black twine double bow underneath.
A simple, easy, and fun to create project, thanks to a jump start of inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by!
